Yamile Lanchas wird zur Eröffnungsveranstaltung Lieder aus aller Welt singen, inspiriert von den Frauen, die sie in dem Magdalena Project kennengelernt hat und ebenso   aus ihrer “Work in Progress” En-cantada.

Meine Vorfahren waren Nomaden; sie bewegten sich ständig zwischen Ländern, Kulturen, Traditionen und Sprachen.
Auch ich bin Nomadin, eine Reisende, denn auch in meiner Arbeit als Schauspielerin bewege ich mich ständig zwischen Text und Lied. Ich erforsche diese Landschaften mit meiner Stimme, durch Klang und Text; ich stehe in Beziehung zu meiner Umgebung, zwischen den Liedern und Stimmen meiner Vorfahren und denen meiner eigenen Reise: “bin bezaubert – en-cantada”.

En-cantada (thread of songs)

On the opening night Yamile Lanchas will perform world songs inspired by the women she has met and shared with in the Magdalena Project, and from her Work in Progress “En-cantada”:
“My ancestors were nomads, constantly moving in-between countries and cultures, traditions and languages.

I am also a nomad, a traveller, but also in my craft as an actress I am constantly in-between text and song. I am exploring this landscapes through my voice: sounds, text and voice and in interaction with my surroundings.I am in-between the chants and voices of my ancestors and of my own travel: enchanted, “en-cantada”.
